Media Page – Publish
The Publish tab lets you configure player size and language, schedule video availability, generate embed codes and control which part of a video is played.
Go to Media, select a video and open the Publish tab.
Player size & language
Choose how the player should appear when embedded on a website.
- Responsive – Automatically adjusts the player size to fit its container while maintaining the video's aspect ratio.
- Fixed – Uses the specified width and height.
- Language – Sets the language used in the player interface.
Player size settings affect newly generated embed codes, not existing ones. They do not affect video playback quality.
Schedule
Set when your video should be available to viewers.
- Publish – The date and time when the video becomes available.
- Unpublish – The date and time when the video is no longer available.
- Clear – Removes the configured schedule.
A publication schedule takes precedence over other publication methods and prevents playback outside the specified period.
Before the publication date, the player displays a countdown. After the unpublish date, it displays a message indicating that the video is no longer available.
The displayed messages may vary depending on the configured player language.
Embed Code
Use this section to generate an iframe embed code for publishing your video on a website.
- Unique identifier – An optional numeric identifier (0–100000000) used to distinguish player instances in statistics and the API.
- Locked embed code – Preserves the player settings used when the embed code was generated, preventing subsequent changes on the Publish or Appearance tabs from affecting that embed.
- Iframe – Copy the generated HTML code and paste it into a website or CMS that supports HTML embedding.
Changes to these embed options affect only embed codes copied after the changes are made.
Start and Stop
Use Start and Stop to control which portion of the video is played.
- Use the timeline or enter the desired Start and Stop times.
- Preview the selected portion in the player.
- Click Reset to restore the original start and stop times.
Unlike the player size and embed code settings, Start and Stop changes also affect previously embedded videos.
Note: Start and Stop controls playback without trimming the actual media file. To create a trimmed version of the video, use the Trim tab instead.
